Honey in Springfield

I always love a good Before & After shot! Some jobs don't have to be glamorous or have the biggest budget to get the most satisfaction in their transformation.

This house was getting listed for sale, and it is commonly known Kitchens can be make or break in the eye of the buyer. It is always tough to know how much to invest when your selling.

These clients are always so great to work with as they don’t mind getting stuck in with a bit of DIY, which can be an excellent way to save. However, being realistic they got in quality Tradesmen where it counts, covering, flooring, electrical, painting cabinetry and of course yours truly to pull together the finishes.

In the Kitchen alterations included

  • New LED spotlighting (replacing original hanging pendant in poor position)

  • New quality vinyl flooring leading on to New Carpet

  • Freshly Painted cabinets with New modern bar handles

  • The clients cut down the ‘stepped’ bench top and replaced both horrible salmon laminate tops with new level modern white/stone look laminate

  • There was also a nasty Roman Blind in the window which was removed

Tip* If you have an existing set of curtains or a blind that is dis-tasteful or simply died a natural death, then remove it, fill the holes and touch up any paint. It is better to have a clear, uninterrupted view out, allowing the buyer to visualize something new, in comparison with a mouldy, dated or broken blind.

This project proves that in some cases you really can make huge improvements on a small budget. This kitchen will no longer be the deal breaker for prospective buyers with plentiful bench space, improved lighting and brand new flooring!! Perfect for a small family, first home buyer or Investor!!!
